Mathematics and Economics

About this Department

Math and economics are part of daily life, and the foundation for a wide range of careers. With a focus on quantitative analysis, modeling, and strong business acumen, our unique and comprehensive program will prepare you to be an impactful communicator, thinker, and leader.

Our faculty features some of the nation’s best analytical thinkers, many of whom are members of elite academic and professional organizations. They bring deep industry experience and scholarly research into the classroom. As dedicated teachers and mentors you will be challenged and inspired to apply what you learn outside of the classroom.

We believe learning extends beyond the classroom. By supporting academic student clubs and organizations and fostering connections with industry partners you will experience real-world experiences and networking opportunities. Our interdisciplinary approach prepares you for success in finance, consulting, data analysis, policy analysis, research, and academia.
